Each sale of a DÉDALE watch now results in a donation to the NGO, in order to support its humanitarian missions and educational activities.
This partnership reflects our desire to go beyond the watchmaking framework to a national and international solidarity approach, directly linked to our aeronautical DNA.

The mobilization of the aviation community
In 1968, Air France pilots and flight engineers, deeply moved by the horrors of the Biafran War, decided to participate in a survival operation by creating an airlift. From this arose the realization that the aviation community had a specific role to play in humanitarian operations.
In 1980, Aviation Sans Frontières was founded: an essential player in the international humanitarian chain, Aviation Sans Frontières mobilizes its expertise and air network to deliver emergency aid from France and its bases abroad, and to transport or accompany people all over the world.
Aviation expertise at the service of humanitarian aid
Aviation Sans Frontières, a recognized public utility NGO, provides essential logistical support to more than 180 partner organizations in the rapid and effective implementation of humanitarian aid.
It is the first NGO to hold a European Air Operator Certificate (AOC), on par with any certified airline. It is a partner of the United Nations Economic and Social Council and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection.
Missions abroad, but also in France
Internationally, Aviation Sans Frontières accompanies hundreds of children each year in urgent need of medical care to have them operated on in Europe, delivers essential supplies to the most impoverished populations, and assists people who have been granted asylum to their new host country.
In France, Aviation Sans Frontières works in collaboration with 19 flying clubs to enable socially isolated young people and disabled people to discover the world of aviation.
In total, Aviation Sans Frontières responds to around twenty requests for humanitarian aid every day from all over the world.
Enhanced educational initiatives
Furthermore, Aviation Sans Frontières is committed to inspiring vocations and supporting career paths related to aviation, by offering:
- To pass the Aeronautical Initiation Certificate (BIA), in order to allow young people to discover the world of aviation in a concrete way.
- Supporting students who have dropped out of school to enable the construction of an ultralight aircraft, opening the way to promising new projects.
