Born long before Earth took shape, the genuine meteorite adorning the dial of the Waypoint WP-01 SIDUS is the frozen echo of a vanished star. Having fallen to Earth thousands of years ago, once sculpted, it reveals a mysterious crystalline pattern: the Widmanstätten figures, natural interweavings that only cosmic time can draw.
Each dial extracted from this meteorite is a unique work of art. Working with such an ancient and singular material requires cutting-edge expertise, an almost ritual delicacy. Every gesture counts, to reveal without betraying, to sublimate without erasing. The result is a living dial, traversed by unpredictable lines and reflections, like a silent map of the sky.
This celestial heart is then encircled by a black enamel contour where the minute track is placed, its visual depth evoking the infinite firmament. This exclusive construction allows two individual finishes to harmonize on the same plane.

This timeframe is dictated by our high standards: each component, including the automatic movement, is manufactured specifically for this series to guarantee flawless finishes. The adjustment, assembly, and testing are then carried out individually by our watchmaker in the Paris region, following artisanal expertise that is never rushed.
DÉDALE watches are powered by the Time Module Inc (TMI) NE86 automatic caliber, a Japanese chronograph movement offering the most advanced technical specifications in its class. It stands out for its reliability and performance, with a power reserve of approximately 45 hours, a column wheel, a vertical clutch, 34 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and resistance to magnetism. This calibre was selected for its technical excellence as well as the global availability of its parts, ensuring simple and long-lasting maintenance.

A chronoscope is a watch designed to measure and display a period of time. Unlike a chronograph (which etymologically means ‘to write time’), it does not write time but displays it visually. DÉDALE uses this more precise term to reflect the technical reality of its watches.
